European Digital Innovation Hub – DigitMak

 

DigitMak will establish a European Digital Innovation Hub in North Macedonia with a reinforced focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), selected under the Seal of Excellence pathway. The Hub will compose two existing DIHs, the DigitMak Hub in Skopje and SEEU TechPark Hub in Tetovo. As both Hubs got the Seal of Excellence from the last call, the joint forces will bring better collaboration and a single unit of operation of the EDIH under the DigitMak name, thus covering a wider area of North Macedonia and targeting more stakeholders. The Hub will target SMEs, mid-cap companies, and public sector organizations, particularly those operating in underserved regions outside the capital. The hub will act as a one-stop shop and gate to the Network for SMEs, mid-caps, and public institutions. The Hub will offer a comprehensive portfolio of EDIH services, incorporating an AI dimension: Test before Invest, Training and Skill Development, Support for Finding Investments, and Networking and Access to Innovation Ecosystems. With strong ties to European AI Innovation Infrastructures and national actors, DigitMak will accelerate AI adoption and support the growth of digital maturity through inclusive, sustainable, and human-centric approaches. The project will contribute to network transitioning to EDIH2.0, offering first-line AI help desk, secure flexible AI client journeys, and promote AI uptake internally within DigitMak and its operation. DigitMak will enhance its network role, driving collaboration and advancing digital innovation, especially in AI, for its clients.
