As part of the Erasmus+ project “Managerial and Governance Enhancement through Teaching – MAGNET”, the MAGNET Project Team at SEEU successfully conducted a series of individualized workshops designed to enhance teaching practices among Part-Time Preparatory Year Teachers. Each workshop was specifically tailored to the subjects taught by the participants, ensuring that the discussed methods and tools could be directly implemented in their classrooms.
The sessions focused on several key aspects of pedagogical improvement, including the effective use of digital resources to enrich instruction, the design of self-study activities to promote autonomous learning, and the development of coherent and outcome-oriented syllabi. In addition to practical training, the workshops created a collaborative environment for educators to exchange ideas, reflect on teaching challenges, and explore innovative approaches to student engagement and learning.
As part of the broader MAGNET initiative, a new resource has been developed to further support educators across partner institutions—The Pedagogy Handbook: Essential Concepts and Practical Strategies for New Teachers. This deliverable serves as a comprehensive guide offering foundational pedagogical concepts and practical strategies to help university teachers create inclusive, interactive, and effective learning environments.
The handbook is available for download here:
