The research team from Media Literacy and Disinformation Research Cluster (MeDisInfo) that functions in the framework of the Max van der Stoel Institute took place in the Rugova Fact-Checking Tech Camp.
Rugova Fact-Checking Tech Camp workshop was a three day activity held in Rugova mountains during 12-14 March 2023 hosted by Albanian Cyber Association and funded by U.S. Department of State.
It gathered regional investigative journalists, fact-checkers, educators and researchers with software developers and artificial intelligence from Albania, Kosova, North Macedonia, Serbia and Bosnia with the goal of drafting a unified methodology for countering fake news and disinformation in Western Balkans by using ChatGPT and OpenAI.
During the workshops experts in media, journalism and technology exchanged their experiences and results of fact checking automation due date.
The activity is part of the project “Combating disinformation and misinformation via Machine Learning for Western Balkans” implemented by Tech Camp Slovenia and supported by U.S. Department of State.
