Max van der Stoel Institute was pleased to host yesterday, March 15, 2023, the forumZFD country director for North Macedonia – Harald Schenker, with whom we discussed potential collaboration opportunities. As both organizations are involved in promoting peace and conflict transformation, they also share common goals and values.
During the meeting, we explored various possibilities for cooperation, such as partnering on specific projects and initiatives, sharing resources and expertise, and coordinating future activities in identifying areas of common interest, as well as exploring opportunities for joint fundraising and advocacy efforts.
ForumZFD is a German NGO that works in the field of peacebuilding and conflict transformation by implementing projects in various regions of the world, including Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
Their work includes supporting local civil society organizations, providing training and capacity building for peace activists, and promoting dialogue and reconciliation between conflicting groups.
The organization is funded by the German government’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and operates as part of the Civil Peace Service (CPS) program.
