SEEU students attend summer school in Besançon, France


Students of the South East European University: Suheja Idrizi, Emine Amedoska, Andrea Bilbilovska, Ilmi Jusufi and Miraxh Lika, within the project “ESPLORADO“, from June 6 to July 2, are participating in the summer school on French + Science, organized by the Université de Franche-Comté, in Besancon, France.
The summer school is organized by the Centre for Applied Linguistics and the Scientific Institute FEMTO-ST (Franche-Comté Electronics Mechanics Thermal Science and Optics – Sciences and Technologies) located under the quadruple authority of the Franche-Comté University, the National Centre for Scientific Research (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique), National Superior School of Mechanics and Microtechnology (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et Microtechniques) and the University of Technology Belfort-Montbéliard (Université de Technologie Belfort-Montbéliard).
Within the summer school, students will be offered intensive and scientific language training, focused on Micro, Nano and Smart Technologies for industrial application purposes. The participation of SEEU students in the summer school was preceded by the visit of SEEU a delegation to University of Besançon, France, in the period 10-13 May, which was attended by the Pro-Rector for International Cooperation and Research, Besa Arifi, representatives of the Institute Max van der Stoel, Veli Kreci-Director, Mennan Selimi– Senior Research Associate; Albulena Halili-Researcher and Bujar Sinani-Head of the International Relations Office at SEEU.
In the framework of the future activities of the project “ESPLORADO”, it is foreseen the participation of five other SEEU students in the field of social sciences, in the summer school for Rule of Law and the European Union that will be organized by Franche-Comté University this year.
The official promotion of the project took place with a round table at SEEU, on the topic: “France’s Soft Power in the Western Balkans”, which was also attended by the French Ambassador to Skopje, H.E. Cyrille Baumgartner.
The ESPLORADO project (Development of internationalization and interdisciplinary approach to study and research programs) is a bilateral strategic partnership between the South East European University and the Franche-Comté University in France, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Europe of France.
